End of the Road...

Well guys, today is a special day. Not only is it Friday (OMFG!!11) but it's my last post on here for a while. You see, I've managed to get an incredibly exciting job with a rather large company here in San Francisco. You might have heard of them. This company does a variety of media ventures, including news, product reviews, video games and pretty much everything else you can think of. Long story short there's an exclusivity contract I had to sign (which begins on Monday) and between that and the amount of work I'm going to be doing, there's little time for me to check in and provide amazing Youtube videos, sort through dozens of entires in a contesta obscura or even post personal achievements.

Anyways, guys it's been real. I hope to return someday, but I'm also hoping this job becomes a permenant fixture in my life. It's been great meeting some of you superfans, and your dedication has not gone un-noticed. Thanks for reading!

Oh by the way, I feel it's one of my last brotherly duties to post a picture of Dave making an ass of himself playing the Wii.

Happy turkey week/end guys. Should be a fun one this year. I'm stoked to see the fam and eat at least 4,000 calories (if possible). I'm even more excited to get my family some time with this badboy:

That's right, I got one. It's partially for my work at www.GamersReports.com, but moreso for me. I'm already about 5 hours deep into Zelda (yeah it keeps track of that). But seriously, if you have a little holiday cash to spend, and can get your hands on one of these, it really is a lot of fun and the perfect accessory for your dorm, house or apartment. Time to pack.

I need one of these for my apartment. Seriously.

There HAS to be a better way.

TGIS

Hey guys. It's been a while. I hope you're all doing well! Thank you very much for the kind birthday wishes earlier this month, it was quite nice of all of you. So much has happened in the past few weeks, nuclear tests, quality television making it's yearly awakening, and of course freaking Columbus day. In my humble opinion I think Columbus day is pretty much the worst of the U.S. holidays. There's not a Hallmark card for it, you don't get work off (unless you work at a bank or post office), and therefore (as a consequence) don't get any mail. Not to mention everybody and their mother kind of gets in those discussions "hey, isn't it like common knowledge now that the guy just kind of bumped into America? Hardly worth a bank holiday, that one."

Speaking of mail, I ordered these AWESOME business cards.

Most of them.

Yes I don't have a business, however there's nothing wrong with having contact cards to give to people instead of sitting there dealing with irritating cell phone number to letter input when you can give them a svelte little card with your personal info and an AWESOME picture on the back. This place does them for $20 (shipped) if you're a Flickr member, and ships them to you straight from freaking London!

I'm going to a party tonight in San Francisco (with Gamestop.com) and am hoping it will be better than the Gamestop shindig I went to earlier this year called G.A.M.E. Since this one takes a bit more effort to get into, I'm hoping it won't be as much of a mob scene. Famous last words right? Have a good weekend everybody.

I came across this via BoingBoing ten minutes ago and had a helluva time creating several sample cassettes before I finally ended up with this one. My game reviewing job is awesome. I can't say much more about it then that, but my gig there has me reviewing free gaming chairs, games that haven't been released yet and of course getting free games in general. Is there anything better? Well heck yes--an album by Josh Lowensohn and the Eggs (never going to happen).

How's everybody doing this week? Happy humpday and shanah tovah to the Jewish folk. I had about 230,392 people send me the link to the Hebrew Krunk, which is potentially worse than that Crazy Frog crap you see on TV. Until next time. I'm about to enjoy 90 minutes of Johnny Knoxville in an empty movie theater.

So my coworker dropped this on me today: it's SHEEP POO PAPER!!!

Somehow they invented the only paper that would make me want to wash my hands after writing a letter (besides maybe like chocolate paper). Although it's "completely sterilized," I still think it would be a great gift to get somebody, I don't know...wedding stationary made out of the stuff.

For those of you who don't know, there's a couple shows coming up if you live in the East Coast area. I'd highly recommend going to these, as the Jammin' Java and Tank are both pretty cool locales, and um well I know if you're visiting this site you probably enjoy SWLLC.

Not much new here. I'm writing a review right now for an absolutely horrid game. I mean like really bad. So bad I don't even want to play it. Doesn't that defeat the entire purpose of a game? Luckily, for the past few months I've been using a service called GamesnFlix, which has just blown me away. It's $17/month and for some reason they've been giving me 4 movies/games out at a time. They also ship next day which is pretty cool as well. It's times like that when I'm glad I didn't just drop $50+ to play an absolutely awful game.

Til next time. SHOO-ROOK.
