SWLLC finally on iTunes Music Store (iTMS).
So the day has finally arrived. Well actually I'm not sure how long this has been "avaliable on iTMS, but according for SWLLC "n00b" and new forum user "pollittdan" you can find the Bull Moose After Party right
here at $.99 a song or $9.99 for the whole album. Good find sir.
I know for most of you this doesn't matter since you've had your copy of this (legally or not) for quite some time. However, this kind of distribution allows the average joe to preview, buy (or gift) the album in his or her skivvies a 3 A.M. any where in the U.S. and maybe other areas, depending on localization legalities.
This is awesome.I'll ask Dave about getting the older albums up there was well, but this is a great start, and something I've been telling him to do from day one of iTMS. I'm not sure about the process (since the store is run by computers in Bangalor), but it's certainly a lot of work to get your stuff on there, and it's cool to have the album sitting on some server farm deep within the bowels of Cupertino, CA.
In other news, I am totally addicted to
this nerdy video game. I think I had a conversation the other day with my buddy from Oregon about how "I need to work on my illusion skills so I can conjur a skeleton to go on the Xerkses quest." It came out of my mouth...I kind of stopped, took a deep breath and thought "Wow, I'm a geek."
In other video game news (lord what is this blog becoming?) We have another competitor in the Tetris competition. Another lass, by the name of Amanda Parks (you might remember her from
this picture) dropped this score on us:

And a love note as well:
"
so i know i only tied galilnik as far as level/lines goes... but take
a look at the score.
i took the screen shot on pause instead of game over, because when
you break 100,000 it doesn't leave the high score screen up, it plays
an animation where it launches a rocket for you.
what can i say? i'm a competitive girl. oh, and while i'm writing, do
i ever get a prize for that bmap photo contest from last year? ; )"Yeeeeeeeah, ummm I put Dave on that detail, I guess he never got around to it. In the meantime, you can have
this.
UPDATE: Amanda does seem to be correct: (from
WikiPedia)
"Also in the Game Boy Edition when playing the A-Type Game after you reach 100,000 points when starting on level 9 you get an animation of a rocket lifting off, the rocket increases in size for every 100,000 points scored until a you max out at a shuttle. When playing B-Type if you complete the game at any of the level 9 stages you get dancing men and if you complete level 9-5 you get the shuttle animation"
